Joe, everyone looks down the neck from the head to see the alignment of the neck. I never did, I always had a much better view looking from the bridge, I see you do too. lol. The Les Paul Custom has been my favorite guitar since the 70's, yet sadly these days, the Epiphone Les Paul Custom is so much better. After decades of not having a Gibson, I bought a Gibson Les Paul Custom in 2020 and sent it back because of so many problems it had. I'll spare you the details. SHAME ON GIBSON guitars. I've heard from so many guitarists that Gibson just doesn't take any pride in their quality anymore. Word is, their focus isn't on guitars anymore, the company has gone in a different direction and the incompetent employees building the guitars could care less about preserving the reputation of the Gibson brand., it's only about the paycheck. DEI strikes again. Very sad.

I was given a Kansas album by my relatives who actually live in Kansas for my 15th Birthday. It was the Song For America album (with the Bird of Prey Claws on the cover!). Ever since, I have been hooked. Song for America brings tears to my eyes, especially these days... Stay Safe, everybody...

Saw them on the POKR tour and this is hard to watch. Steve is obviously tanked and I don't even think his keyboards are in the mix. Sad.

Joe is wrong. Les Paul did NOT design the Les Paul, never. The only thing he did design was the horrible trapeze tailpiece that no one ever liked. All he did was endorse the guitar and took money so Gibson could use his name. Thats all he did. All he did was endorse what McArty's TEAM came up with. Les Paul was kind of a narcissist and gladly took credit for things he had nothing to do with. Gibson ripped off the design from O.W. Appleton, go look it up. Setting up a Les Paul isn't hard at all. FORGET the measurements, throw away your little ruler. Measurements don't give you good sound. Use your EARS.

Tough to hear Tom talk about the whole experience he went through! Would like to hear him talk more about maybe the good times...

I remember recording this off the local FM station . Played that tape till it ate itself. My friends never really understood Todd. But I was the only one who went on to be a musician.

Wow - he is so enthusiastic here and sounding full of life. I can’t wrap my head around him checking out of life two days later. RIP.

So what do you think Steve's motivation was to fix the vocals? I think he wanted his fans to experience a quality product. Sometimes you can't do that. I'm sure it cost him time and money to do that.

Saw Kansas in this era. Great show. Steve is a showman extreme. Glad some of his band mates stuck with him through his difficulties. Performers are good people in my book.
